The first few weeks of our city council campaign have been incredible; I cannot thank you enough for your support and kind words since we launched. In case you missed it, our campaign was featured in the Press Democrat, and I’m honored to announce that we’ve brought in several key endorsements, including:
Assemblymember Jim Wood, former Assemblymember and Sonoma County Supervisor Valerie Brown, former Sonoma County Supervisor Ernie Carpenter, Santa Rosa City Schools Board of Education Member Jenni Klose, Sonoma County Planning Commissioners Paula Cook and Willie Lamberson, and many others.
Now, we’re about to reach our first big campaign milestone, the December 31 fundraising deadline, and I need your help to keep the momentum going.
As your Councilmember, I want to expand on all of the work we’ve done together so far, finding innovative solutions to support our homeless friends and neighbors, making Santa Rosa more inclusive and affordable for all families, promoting sustainability and protecting our environment and open spaces.
However, we know that this is going to be a competitive race and a very crowded field, so your help today will go a long way. Every dollar we raise before midnight on December 31 will be reported publicly in January. A strong total will send a message to others who might join our campaign that we are ready to get things done.
There’s a lot at stake for Santa Rosa in this election. We have a chance to lead this city in an exciting new direction, building a future of widespread affordability and sustainability. I am confident that with your support we’ll get there.
Thanks so much for your friendship,
